| Cruise
ships to Cuba began from Jamaica on June 2.
The
Jamaican trips will be for one week and plan to
visit Havana for at least two days and the Island of
Youth for two additional days.
Jamaican
trips will depart from Montego Bay on Fridays.
These
trips are legal and have been licensed by the US
Treasury Department. They say they are legal
because the Americans will live and eat on board.
Riviera
I
Cancun....The
Riviera I, a 425 passenger cruise ship, began
cruises to Havana in December of 2000. Trips
go twice per week. You can take off on Friday
and be in Havana for Saturday then return that
evening or you can even stay a week if you like.
Prices
start at $159 and go up to $569 for the Royal Suite.
Ship has an oval outdoor pool, 2 jacuzzis, 2
solariums, a sauna, massage service, 4 bars, 2
restaurants, a 400 capacity party hall, 200-capacity
disco, a duty-free shop, photo shop, clothes washing
service and medical service.
